About Discord Trading
Index Funds:
Why did we start the Discord Trading website? If you want to build wealth from scratch or retire early saving money is not enough. You have to invest your money and make it grow with the compound returns. The stock market is one of the best places to do it, especially if you don’t want to spend time managing the investment in the Real Estate.
For most people simply investing in index ETFs or using a Robo-advisor is a balanced strategy with a reasonable amount of risk and potential returns. Warren Buffet famously made a million-dollar bet with the Hedge Funds and won. The best was that hedge funds wouldn’t be able to outperform the S&P 500 index fund over the 10 years.
Even though this is common knowledge among the investors, many still try to outperform the market by actively trading. Perhaps this is you! Maybe you have a small portion of your portfolio that you like to play around with by buying calls or puts.
Wall Street Bets:
We like to allocate a portion of our portfolio to risky trades as well. The idea is to make money and then funnel them back to the boring ETFs. Back in the day, a subreddit called Wall Street Bets was a great place to get tips on the direction for calls and puts. However, with the news coverage, this subreddit became popular and attracted lots of users that are not proficient at trading. At the time of the writing, there are 1.6 million users and the subreddit is full of memes rather than stock tips.
Discord Trading Servers:
In 2020 and beyond one of the best places to be social and discuss trades are Discord servers. This is the place where you can meet like-minded people and get a different perspective on your trades. The issue is that there are so many Discord servers and their search engines are lacking. How do you find the right and valuable Discord Trading servers?
This is why this website was born. We want to highlight a tightly curated selection of Discord Trading servers.
Trading Options:
Even though the stock is vast with seemingly unlimited ways to find good trades there are a bunch of other places where money can be made. Cryptocurrency markets are perhaps the biggest financial innovation in our lifetime. Crypto comes with a lot of potential upside and risks. That is why again we want to highlight places you can hang out and get valuable information. Forex is a more traditional market that can be quite profitable. You also don’t have to be buying or shorting stock itself, for ultimate gain or loss (most likely) you can trade option derivatives.
Our favourite long-term trading strategy is The Wheel Strategy where we sell a cash-secured put first. There are so many other good trading strategies that we haven’t tried but would like to learn and share. That is why we also want to highlight different trading tactics and how effective they are. We also on a hunt for a systemic approach that reduces the amount of gambling risk.
